!!!Potty Training!!!

We read the book (Pottywise), bought new big-girl panties and a ton of rewards! We were ready to go. The girls have been using the potty off and on for a few months now with pretty regular success. Jackaroo...not so much. He has spots of success between weeks of no interest. So we decided to move forward with the girls and wait on Jack.

We picked a day and had Nini and Uncle Bert come pick up Jackie for his special day out so we could concentrate on the girls and the potty. Jack had a good time out with Nini and Uncle Bert but the girls worried and asked about him the whole day. Poor Lily cried and cried when he left.



The girls were so excited to put on their big girl panties (they call them "pandies").

We had a great first day! Lily had no mistakes and Faye only had one! The next couple days after were up and down.

Seriously.... just between you and me...I thought three days tops and they would be fully potty trained. I did! Rookie mistake. Anyway, it has taken me some time to understand that this is a process that will entail good days and off days and may be months before we can truly declare potty trained.

The girls are still working on it; wearing their big girl pandies during the day and pullups for nap. Yea girls!!!
